800 registered Evans voters signed a petition to stop the sale of North Park, a paper street adjacent to the Derby Veteran's Park. The supervisor's secretary challenged the petition and lost in State Supreme Court. The purchase offer from Hawley Development (Reid Petroleum) was withdrawn and the referendum was never scheduled for a vote.
